Flame Sensor Module
This flame sensor module is really an infrared detector that is sensitive to a specific wavelength (760nm to 1100nm) of light that is commonly seen in flames.
The module outputs an analog voltage corresponding to the brightness of the infrared light received, and also outputs a digital signal that goes high when a pre-set threshold is reached. This threshold can be adjusted with the on-board potentiometer. A small on-board LED indicates the current status.
- G - GND on power supply
- + - 5V on power supply
- AO - analog output voltage - connect to an A/D pin on your microcontroller
- DO - digital output signal - connect to another module or a digital IO pin on your microcontroller.
